PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

ITALIAN ASSOCIATION OF CHIROPRATICI

The Italian Chiropractors Association has been active since 1974 and aims to protect the profession of the chiropractor in order to guarantee qualified operators to patients.
To this end, the Association is committed alongside the institutions to obtain the regulation of the chiropractic profession, to start a university course for chiropractic in Italy and to promote chiropractic as an art, science, philosophy.

BECOMING A CHIROPRACTOR

TRAINING/UNIVERSITY

A degree in Chiropractic consists of a full-time university course of 5 years for a total of more than 4200 hours in subjects such as: Diagnostics, Neurology, Anatomy, Physiology, Chiropractic Philosophy and Science, Chiropractic Techniques, Communication and others.

Attendance is compulsory and in the training course there is a clinical practice at colleges and universities accredited according to international standards on the training of the profession.

Some subjects are therefore in line with medical training, but there is a significant teaching load related to manual practice as chiropractic does not use drugs and does not resort to surgery.

Our chiropractors, Dr. Battaglini and Dr. Bidgood-Lund, both have a university degree from one of the few European and world universities offering a Masters in Chiropractic.

COLLABORATORS

At Salute Chiropratica Verona, we work with a team of professionals with whom we collaborate in order to optimize the path of our patients in a multi-disciplinary context. The constant interaction between health professionals is in fact one of our strengths to assist the patient in the therapeutic process and lead them to achieve their goals.
